Concerns

You and Your Child's Privacy

You are not expected to divulge any information outside of what is required by us to ensure payment and safety of everyone involved in our programs. This gym makes regular posts including but not limited to: Facebook and Instagram posts, Facebook and Instagram reels, TikToks, YouTube videos, and YouTube Shorts. If you do not wish your child to be featured in any of the previous forms of social media please let Office manager Teresa Shelton, Coach K, and/or Coach Kaleb Stahl aware of this fact. Lack of this statement being made known, your child may be featured in group Facebooks posts/Reels, Instagram Posts/Reels, and or group TikToks/ YouTube Videos/ YouTube Shorts. We will not ,without expressed parental permission, record any sort of small-scale Video/ Post  with less than 5 children involved.

Team and Class Placement

Team and Class Placement is up to the sole discretion of the Coaches and staff at Poplar Bluff Cheer and Tumbling. If you have any questions, please reach out to us through our business line found at the bottom of the page. Let it be known that a concern regarding the placement of your child on an All-Star Team, or in a Tumbling class, does not mean that the decision of what class/team your child is on will be changed... UNLESS the coaches at Poplar Bluff Cheer and Tumbling deem it merrited.

Online Expectations of Parents and Athletes

As an outward facing program, we expect all of our Athletes and their parents to reflect the goals and standards set by the gym when it comes to kindness and sportsmanship. We do not expect everyone to be perfect, however open slander of other Athletes, Programs, and Coaches will not be tolerated in this program. We do not often concern ourselves about the conduct of our members, but should the occasion arise then we will have to meet with those who are doing the slander, and if the receiving member is also a part of the PBCT family then they too will attend this meeting. Punishments are decided by the PBCT staff and will range from the meeting itself up to removal from the gym if the offense is deemed severe enough to warrant that kind of punishment.
